TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE

Purpose:                The Tournament Committee is to evaluate tournaments to ensure that the tournament(s) is FUN, CONVENIENT, AFFORDABLE, and FUN!!

Requirements:      1.    The Tournament Committee should conduct surveys to determine these recommended factors:

- Are the dates convenient?

- Are the tournament costs affordable?

-  Are the hosts bowling centers easily accessible; have adequate room    for the expected gallery; provide quality lanes and equipment?

-  Is tournament information communicated effectively to applicable bowlers?

-  Do bowlers have difficulty getting a team or partner?

-  Are the awards worthy of the effort?

-  Are the divisions equitable?

2.    The Committee makes recommendations to the Board on needed rule changes.

3.     Communicates recommendations to the TSUSBCYA Board for approval at either the June or November meeting.
